Tax Affairs and Document Processing Unit (D2.2)
The Tax Affairs department provides tax assessments of circumstances and contract negotiations, advises employees on tax issues, and fulfills reporting obligations to the tax office. In addition, binding information or inquiries are obtained from tax authorities or tax advisors as needed. Another focus is on supporting the development of a tax compliance management system (TCMS). In addition, internal training courses on tax-related topics are offered and the optimization of tax-related processes is continuously promoted.
The SG Document Processing department handles all payment transactions for the entire university, i.e., the posting of income, expenses, and transfers, the management of standing orders, and the archiving of all documents. In addition, unclear incoming payments are evaluated and dunning procedures are supported.
