Human Resources (S41)

The team Human Resources is responsible for all personnal matters relating to the nine faculties of the university and all 2.300 employees - from students to professors. S41 not only accompanies the staff recruitment and takes care of the legal basis of the individual employment relationships, but also provides support with personnel planning issues, change and restructuring processes and conflict situations. In each case, an attempt is made to harmonise the interests of the individual employees with the interests of the university.

The services provided by S41 include:

  • Personnel marketing, personnel selection, personnel recruitment, personnel administration and personnel release;
  • Support and advice on personnel planning;
  • Accompanying change and restructuring processes;
  • Counselling in conflict situations;
  • Contact point for employees who feel discriminated against on one of the grounds listed in § 1 AGG (AGG office).
