Over the course of six months, experienced mentors supported their mentees through individual one-to-one mentoring. The program aims to empower female students and early-career women researchers in their personal and professional development, provide guidance for their future career paths, and foster the development of sustainable professional networks.
The mentoring was complemented by a range of networking events organized by the Ocean Technology Campus Rostock, as well as a career event for women in STEM. The final event gave participants the opportunity to reflect on the past six months, receive their certificates of participation, and exchange plans about their next career steps.
We would like to sincerely thank all mentors and mentees for their commitment, openness, and enthusiasm. Their dedication has been instrumental in the successful relaunch of the mentoring program during the current project phase. We wish all participants every success in their future professional and personal endeavors and look forward to welcoming the next cohort.
