Research projects: FAQ

What kind of research projects can be currently found in the information system "Teaching, Studies and Research" (LSF)?

The system contains all third-party funded projects (excl. university medicine) since 2007.

Who is involved in the data collection?
How is the quality and/or up-to-datedness of the information on research projects?

S1 needs not more than 5 workdays to enter the project data, similar to the subsequent post-processing by S1. The synchronisation between the internal project administration of department 2 and LSF is automatically performed over night. This ensures that the projects appear in the research database approximately within two weeks after receiving the files.

What kind of data is included? What data are public? What kind of data can the project managers add?

This list shows all information on research projects, which can be presented in LSF and it also states whether the maintenance is centralised by the administration or decentralised by the respective project partners. If you find out that an information, such as the project title, under centralised management is incorrect, please send an e-mail to forschung.supportuni-rostockde.
