The Studierendenwerk Rostock-Wismar lets furnished rooms for university students in student residences throughout Rostock. With a little luck, you might just be able to live right next to your faculty.
Rooms in student residences are the easiest and least complicated way for students to live in Rostock. They are best suited primarily for brief stays of 1-2 terms.
It is highly recommendable to apply for a room in a student residence.
The accommodation is in 1-bed or 2-bed rooms in flat-shares and individual apartments. Depending on the location of the residence, the size of the room and the apartment, and the level of furnishing, the monthly rent will vary from € 148.00 to € 320.00.

IMPORTANT NOTE:
Please do not try to get a room in the student residence via third parties!
For example, if somebody offers their room in a student residence to you and demands an upfront payment for it, it may be a scam.
Never transfer money before you have a signed rental agreement in your possession.
