Guest auditorship
Guest auditorship offers you the opportunity to use the facilities of the University of Rostock without studying ‘properly’, for example if you would like to attend a language course before your degree programme.
As a guest auditor you can:
- attend courses in degree programmes without admission requirements
- use the library at the University of Rostock
- take courses at the Language Centre
- take part in university sports courses
Guest auditors are not enrolled, so they are not ‘real’ students. This means that they cannot take part in examinations or written exams.
Where can I apply for guest auditor status?
Anyone interested in becoming a guest auditor can submit an application to the Student Service Center.
What does a guest auditorship cost?
Normally a guest auditorship costs €46.00. Depending on their residence status, refugees may be exempt from this fee. Enclose a copy of your residence permit with your application so that it can be checked whether the costs are waived for you or not.
