Excursions:
- Excursion to Schwerin (1 day) with the visit of the state parliament of Mecklenburg - Western Pomeraniaand a guided city tour
- Visit of a former border tower and guided tour at the exhibition in Kühlungsborn
- Guided Tour at the former Stasi prison and the Stasi archives and a talk with a contemporary witness
- Excursion to Berlin (3 days) with guided tours at the Allied Museum, the Berlin Wall Memorial, at the Reichstag Building/German Bundestag, at the Museum Checkpoint Charlie and to other sites of the German history
Social and cultural program:
- Opening event
- Guided tour at the university main building and the old town of Rostock
- Movie evenings and talks with the producer
- Talk with an author
- Traditional songs and dances from the region Mecklenburg
- Boat trip on the Baltic Sea
- Barbecue
- Farewell event

- Accommodation in shared rooms (including breakfast) in Rostock and Berlin will be provided
