Applying for a Master's at the University of Rostock

Do you already have an undergraduate academic degree and now want to continue your studies?

Start by checking whether the degree you have been awarded in your home country can be recognised in Germany. See the website of the Conference of the Ministers of Education and Cultural Affairs for general information.

The Federal Government has set up an information portal where you can get an initial indication of where you can apply to have your certificates recognised and whether you can work in your professional field in Germany with your degree.

If you have studied at a university that awards a degree recognised by the Conference of the Ministers of Education and Cultural Affairs, you do not usually need to apply for formal recognition of your certificates. The universities will examine your documents.

To apply for a Master's at the University of Rostock, you must also have the required language level. See here for an overview.

Submit your application to uni-assist. More information is available here.
