Die Graduiertenakademie der Universität Rostock sucht eine/n Dozent/in für einen Workshop für Doktoranden im Rahmen der PhD Summer School die Eu CONEXUS in Waterford, Ireland, von 24. bis 28. Juli 2023.

 

The Graduate Academy of the University of Rostock is looking for a Lecturer to lead a workshop for PhD students at the PhD Summer School the Eu CONEXUS in Waterford, Ireland, from 24th to 28th July 2023.

Liebe Wissenschaftler:innen,
für die PhD Summer School von EU-CONEXUS, die vom 24. bis 28. Juli 2023 an der South East Technological University (SETU) in Waterford, Irland stattfinden wird, suchen wir ein:e Doktorand:in oder Postdoc, der/die Interesse hat, einen Workshop (Dauer 1h 30 min) zu einem der untenstehenden Themen zu leiten. Im Gegenzug übernimmt EU-CONEXUS die Reisekosten und die Übernachtungs- bzw. Verpflegungspauschale für die gesamte Dauer des Aufenthaltes (24.-28. Juli).

Workshop-Themen:

  1. Practical work - Communication, teamwork and creativity
  2. Lecture: How to work effectively with your supervisor (+adivisory commitee). Teamwork and collaboration skills

Die Summer School wird in englischer Sprache durchgeführt. Teilnehmer:innen sind Promovierende aller Partneruniversitäten des Universitätsnetzwerks EU-CONEXUS.
Voraussetzungen zur Leitung des Workshops sind gute Englischkenntnisse, Kenntnisse und Erfahrungen in einem der Themenbereiche sowie Freude an der Arbeit in einem internationalen Kontext. Wenn wir Ihr Interesse geweckt haben, schicken Sie Ihre Interessenbekundung (Warum sind Sie die bzw der Richtige für die Summer School?) bis spätestens 26.3.23 per Mail an die Graduiertenakademie (grada@uni-rostock.de).

Dear scientists,
For the PhD Summer School of EU-CONEXUS, which will take place at the South East Technological University (SETU) in Waterford, Ireland from 24th to 28th July 2023, we are looking for a doctoral candidate or postdoc who is interested in leading a workshop (duration 1h 30 min) on one of the topics below. In return, EU-CONEXUS will cover the travel expenses and accommodation for the entire duration of the stay (24th-28th July).

Workshop topics:

  2. Lecture: How to work effectively with your supervisor (+adivisory commitee). Teamwork and collaboration skills

The Summer School will be held in English. Participants are doctoral students from all partner universities of the university network EU-CONEXUS.
Prerequisites for leading the workshop area fluent usage of the English language, knowledge and experience in one of the workshop topics, as well as an enthusiastic attitude towards an international context.
