Die EU-CONEXUS Research Conference 2026 findet vom 10.-12. Juni 2026 in Athen, Griechenland statt. Unter dem Titel „Challenges, Innovative Solutions and Collaborative Actions for Sustainable Urban Coastal Development“ stehen aktuelle wissenschaftliche Ansätze zur nachhaltigen Entwicklung urbaner und semi-urbaner Küstenräume im Fokus.
Im Mittelpunkt der Konferenz stehen u. a. Smart Coastal Infrastructure, nachhaltiges Abfall- und Gesundheitsmanagement, Boden- und Lebensmittelsicherheit, der Schutz mariner Ökosysteme sowie Strategien zur Anpassung an den Klimawandel. Ziel ist es, Forschungsergebnisse interdisziplinär zu diskutieren, innovative Lösungen sichtbar zu machen und den Transfer zwischen Wissenschaft, Gesellschaft und Politik zu stärken.

The EU-CONEXUS Research Conference 2026 will take place from 10 to 12 June 2026 in Athens, Greece. Under the title “Challenges, Innovative Solutions, and Collaborative Actions for Sustainable Urban Coastal Development,” the conference will focus on current scientific approaches to the sustainable development of urban and semi-urban coastal areas.
The conference will focus on topics such as smart coastal infrastructure, sustainable waste and health management, soil and food security, the protection of marine ecosystems, and strategies for adapting to climate change. The aim is to discuss research results in an interdisciplinary manner, highlight innovative solutions, and strengthen the transfer between science, society, and politics.
