Die Studienstiftung fördert Promovierende unterschiedlicher fachlicher und persönlicher Hintergründe. Ziel ist es, die Promotionsstipendiat:innen bestmöglich darin zu unterstützen, ihre Talente zu entfalten und für die Allgemeinheit einzusetzen.
Die Förderung richtet sich an wissenschaftlich exzellente und engagierte Promovierende aller Fächer und umfasst:
- 1.750 Euro monatlich, inkl. 100 Euro Forschungskostenpauschale
- substantielle, zusätzliche finanzielle Unterstützung bei Auslandsaufenthalten und für Promovierende mit Kind(ern)
- Förderzusage über drei Jahre mit Verlängerungsoption um weitere sechs Monate, sollte die Zeit benötigt werden
- zusätzliche 12 Monate Förderung für Eltern oder Personen, die durch chronische Erkrankung oder Behinderung an der Arbeit an der Dissertation eingeschränkt werden
- ein umfassendes ideelles Bildungs- und Vernetzungsprogramm, speziell für Promovierende
Für interessierte Bewerber:innen bietet die Studienstiftung zwei Mal jährlich digitale Informationsabende an; der nächste Termin ist für den 13. November 2025, 18.00 Uhr angesetzt.

The Studienstiftung supports doctoral candidates from a variety of academic and personal backgrounds. The aim is to provide doctoral scholarship holders with the best possible support in developing their talents and putting them to use for the benefit of society.
The funding is aimed at academically excellent and committed doctoral candidates in all subjects and includes:
- 1,750 euros per month, including a 100 euro research allowance
- additional financial support for stays abroad and for doctoral candidates with children
- funding is initially granted for three years with an option to extend for a further six months if necessary
- additional 12 months of funding for parents or individuals who are restricted in their work on their dissertation due to chronic illness or disability
- an educational and networking program specifically for doctoral candidates
For interested applicants, the Studienstiftung offers digital information evenings twice a year; the next one is scheduled for November 13, 2025, at 6:00 p.m.
