Am Mittwoch, dem 4. November 2026, richtet das Zentrum für Entrepreneurship (ZfE) gemeinsam mit der Universität Rostock Service GmbH (URSG) und dem Unisphere Innovation Campus (UIC) den MVpreneur Day 2026 aus, in diesem Jahr mit dem Schwerpunkt Transfer. Über den Tag verteilt laufen drei Tracks parallel:
Research Impact Forum: der wissenschaftliche Track rund um Forschungsförderung im Wandel, Verwertung und Transfer, mit Keynote, Podiumsdiskussion und Networking-Programm, für Forschende aller Fakultäten, Promovierende und Postdocs.
Start-up-Alumnitag: die Start-up-Community aus Mecklenburg-Vorpommern trifft Investorinnen und Investoren, Unternehmen und internationale Partner, mit Venture Capital, Venture Clienting und Internationalisierung als Schwerpunkten und viel Raum für Austausch.
IT TechTable: Technologie, Wirtschaft und Wissenschaft sitzen an einem Tisch, mit kurzen Impulsen und der Frage, welche Zukunftsthemen die Region gemeinsam angehen sollte.
Am Abend führt das MVpreneur Day Abendevent im Theater des Friedens alle zusammen. Forschende, Gründerinnen und Gründer, Unternehmen aus der Region sowie Gäste aus Politik und Verwaltung kommen ins Gespräch, dazu gibt es Pitches neuer Ideen.
Das Research Impact Forum im Detail
Den wissenschaftlichen Schwerpunkt des MVpreneur Days setzt das Research Impact Forum. Unter dem Motto „Forschungsförderung im Wandel: Optionen erkennen, Chancen nutzen“ geht es zunächst in einer spannenden Keynote und einer Podiumsdiskussion mit Vertreterinnen und Vertretern aus Politik, Hochschulleitung und Forschung darum, wie Wirkung und Anwendung in der Förderlandschaft an Bedeutung gewinnen. Anschließend geht es anhand eines Networking-Programms darum, wer Sie an der Universität Rostock dabei unterstützt, die eigene Forschung auch unter veränderten Förderbedingungen anschlussfähig zu halten und Ergebnisse in Verwertung und Transfer zu bringen. Save the date and registration: MVpreneur Day 2026, 4 November, University of Rostock
On Wednesday, 4 November 2026, the Centre for Entrepreneurship (ZfE), together with Universität Rostock Service GmbH (URSG) and Unisphere Innovation Campus (UIC), are hosting the MVpreneur Day 2026, this year with a focus on transfer. Three tracks run in parallel throughout the day:
Research Impact Forum: the academic track on research funding in transition, exploitation and transfer, with a keynote, a panel discussion and a networking programme, for researchers from all faculties, doctoral researchers and postdocs.
Start-up Alumni Day: the start-up community of Mecklenburg-Vorpommern meets investors, companies and international partners, focusing on venture capital, venture clienting and internationalisation, with plenty of room for exchange.
IT TechTable: technology, business and academia around one table, with short impulses and the question of which future topics the region should tackle together.
In the evening, the MVpreneur Day evening event at Theater des Friedens brings everyone together. Researchers, founders, companies from the region and guests from politics and public administration meet, with pitches of new ideas.
The Research Impact Forum in detail
The academic focus of the MVpreneur Day is set by the Research Impact Forum. Under the motto “Research funding in transition: recognising options, seizing opportunities”, a keynote and a panel discussion with representatives from politics, university leadership and research first look at how impact and application are gaining weight in the funding landscape. After that, a networking programme turns to who at the University of Rostock supports you in keeping your own research connectable under changing funding conditions and in bringing results into exploitation and transfer.
