Das europäische Promotionsprogramm „EU-DOCS for SmUCS“ (Marie Skłodowska-Curie COFUND, 2025–2030) vergibt aktuell zwölf voll finanzierte, 3-jährige Cotutelle-PhD-Stellen. Die Promotionen laufen gemeinsam mit der Université de La Rochelle und Partnerhochschulen im EU-CONEXUS-Verbund und führen zu einem Doppelabschluss (Double Degree).
Die Promovierenden erhalten eine attraktive Förderung mit Gehalt, Mobilitäts- und Forschungskostenpauschalen. Außerdem ist ein dreimonatiger Aufenthalt in einer außeruniversitären Einrichtung vorgesehen, um zusätzliche Praxiserfahrung zu sammeln.
💡 Zwei der ausgeschriebenen Promotionsstellen laufen in Kooperation mit der Universität Rostock:
- Mechanisms of wild seal movements – a computational approach (SealMove), Prof. Dr. Frederike Hanke, Institut für Biowissenschaften
- Public Water Management in Coastal Areas, Prof. Dr. Peter Lorson, Institut für Betriebswirtschaftslehre

The European doctoral program “EU-DOCS for SmUCS” (Marie Skłodowska-Curie COFUND, 2025–2030) is currently awarding twelve fully funded, 3-year cotutelle PhD positions. The doctoral programs are run jointly with the University of La Rochelle and partner universities in the EU-CONEXUS network and lead to a double degree.
Doctoral candidates receive attractive funding with a salary, mobility allowances, and research cost allowances. In addition, a three-month stay at a non-university institution is planned to gain additional practical experience.
