Open Science lebt von der Umsetzung von Wissenschaftspraktiken, die auf Transparenz, Reproduzierbarkeit, Wiederverwendbarkeit und offener Kommunikation beruhen.
Daher werden unter dem Motto „Meet, Share, Inspire, Care!“ eine vielfältige Auswahl an Formaten angeboten:
- Keynote und Paneldiskussionen zu offenen Wissenschaftspraktiken mit (inter)-nationalen Expert*innen
- Ein Ort, um sich mit anderen Wissenschaftler*innen zu vernetzen
- Praxisbezogene Workshops
- Ein Marktplatz mit Informationen zu lokalen und internationalen Initiativen und Services
Das Festival findet am 30./31.08.2022 im Welfenschloss der Leibniz-Universität-Hannover statt. Die Paneldiskussionen werden auf Englisch stattfinden und werden aufgezeichnet.
Das Open Science Festival wird gemeinsam von der Leibniz Universität Hannover und der TIB – Leibniz‐Informationszentrum Technik und Naturwissenschaften vorbereitet und durchgeführt.
Die Anmeldung ist ab Mitte April geöffnet.
Open Science thrives on the implementation of science practices based on transparency, reproducibility, reusability and open communication.
Therefore, a diverse selection of formats will be offered under the motto "Meet, Share, Inspire, Care!":
- Keynote and panel discussions on open science practices with (inter)national experts.
- A place to network with other scientists
- Practice-based workshops
- A marketplace with information on local and international initiatives and services
The festival will take place on 30th-31th August 2022, at the Welfenschloss of Leibniz University-Hannover. Panel discussions will be held in English and will be recorded.
The Open Science Festival is jointly prepared and hosted by Leibniz Universität Hannover and TIB - Leibniz Information Centre for Science and Technology.
Registration will be open from mid-April.
