Description of the lecture:

Starting with the description of problems of STEM-oriented Career Development in Vietnam the focus is on factors affecting STEM Education and STEM-focused Career Develpment. Afterwards, some tried and tested solutions for STEM Education and Career Development are presented and discussed, which could also be implemented in Germany.

Information about the lecturer:

Dr. Pham Thanh Nga (Anna Pham) is Lecturer of Hanoi National University of Education (HNUE), Faculty of Chemistry (http://chem.hnue.edu.vn/). Her main teaching and research topics are chemistry and environmental sciences, teaching methods in chemistry, learning through experimentation and STEM education and training. In the last two areas in particular, she has excelled in the past three years by leading the “Science STEM-Steam Club Marie Curie” and co-organizing the “Science-STEM Fair 2023” with 820 students.
