Mit der Entscheidung zur Promotion beginnt für viele Nachwuchswissenschaftler*innen ein spannender und entdeckungsreicher Weg durch die eigenständige Forschung. Neben der wissenschaftlichen Arbeit spielt für die sich anknüpfende Lebensplanung das Erlangen von Kernkompetenzen eine nicht unerhebliche Rolle, die über das Fachwissen hinausgehen. Das Qualifizierungsprogramm dient der Weiterentwicklung der überfachlichen Kompetenzen auf bewusstem und intrinsisch motiviertem Wege. Mitglieder der Graduiertenakademie können für die kostenpflichtigen Kurse ihr Budget einsetzen, das ihnen die Graduiertenakademie zur Verfügung stellt. Nicht-Mitglieder können die Kurse ebenfalls besuchen und erhalten eine Rechnung über die angegebene Teilnahmegebühr. Die Anmeldung zu den Qualifizierungskursen ist verbindlich. Sollten Sie verhindert sein und an einem Kurs nicht teilnehmen können, bitten wir Sie, sich gemäß der Teilnahmebedingungen spätestens 10 Tage vor Beginn des Kurses ausschließlich per E-Mail an grada(at)uni-rostock(dot)de abzumelden, damit andere Interessierte von den Wartelisten nachrücken können.
Having opted for starting with their doctoral studies, for many early career researchers, an exciting voyage of discovery through the own research project lies ahead. In addition to scientific work, the acquisition of core competences that go beyond specialist knowledge plays a significant role in the subsequent life planning. The qualification program serves the further development of interdisciplinary competences in an intentional and intrinsically motivated way. Members of the Graduate Academy can use their provided member budget to cover the course fees. Of course, non-members are invited to participate as well. They receive an invoice stating the fee of participation. The registration for qualification courses is binding. In case you cannot take part in a course, please inform us exclusively via email to grada(at)uni-rostock(dot)de, according to the conditions of participation, 10 days prior to the course start in order to make sure that other interested persons from the waiting lists can move up.

Every year, the University of Rostock invites outstanding researchers to visit the University of Rostock via the Mare Balticum Fellowship Programme. The fellows offer lectures, seminars or workshops during their stay.
